There are several situations where you may need concrete cut.

We can offer more options than most other. We have a highly skilled team using top of the line equipment.

Expansion Cutting

One of the most common requests we get is for expansion cutting. It is important this is done right as it allows the concrete to expand or contract with temperature and humidity changes without jeopardizing the integrity of the concrete. With our experience we can also offer advice on placement of the expansion cuts.

Decorative Cutting

Concrete cutting often requires very precise work, and this is very true of decorative cutting. Varying depths, widths, and spacing can make a concrete slab look more visually appealing and unique. It is important that this work is done with care, as concrete is not always a forgiving medium for beginners.

Flush Cutting

For difficult cuts that need to be kept in line with a wall or other surface, we offer flush cutting. An important element of flush cutting is to use particular care and have well maintained tools to prevent the other surfaces from being damaged. This type of cutting is often used in renovations, but can be applicable to new builds as well.

Chase Cutting

Chase cutting is normally done for repair work. We cut away and cracks and faults in the concrete to open the space for a filler material.

Electric Floor sawing

For situations when a concrete floor needs to be cut (whether for removal or maintenance) and there is a need to keep emissions and dust low. We often use this technique in residential or commercial area where there will be other people in the area.

Wall Sawing

Wall sawing is not exclusive to walls. In situations where there isn’t space to use a conventional floor saw, we can still get into cut the concrete with a wall saw. This kind of work can be done on concrete stair, ramps, and other spaces that don’t accommodate a floor saw. Of course, as the name suggest we can also saw concrete walls. This can include lower walls, adding openings for windows and doors.

Hand Sawing

One of the more versatile option for cutting concrete. Hand sawing fits into more confined spaces, but can also cut through concrete that otherwise wouldn’t support the weight of larger concrete cutters.  Hand sawing require a bit more skill and practice to operate accurately then some of the other saw types.

Ring Sawing

Our ring sawing options are among the best in Auckland. We offer Ring sawing up to 400mm which is the best in the business. Ring sawing is meant for more heavy duty jobs, such as reinforced concrete while still allowing the ability to fit into tight spaces. Our ring saw will handle even the thickest walls.

Wire Sawing

With a wire saw, we can cut columns, concrete plinths, and greater depths of concrete.  Wire saw systems are flexible—suitable for use in confined spaces and limited access areas—while retaining the ability to cut vertically, horizontally, or on an angle.  No concrete structure is too large to cut with a wire saw.
